Affiliate Disclosure
Last reviewed on October 3, 2026
Current Status: No Affiliate Links or Paid Placements
As of the date above, StainlessMesh.com does not contain affiliate links, sponsored posts, paid supplier listings or advertising. No manufacturer, retailer or supplier pays to appear on the site, and the site earns no commission when you buy mesh anywhere.
The "Example Specifications" boxes on category and guide pages describe example specifications (for instance "100 mesh, 0.0045″ wire, 304") to help you write a purchase specification. They are not endorsements of a particular brand or seller and do not link to a shop.
What an Affiliate Link Is
An affiliate link is a URL containing a tracking ID. If a reader clicks it and buys something, the merchant may pay the linking site a commission. Because readers deserve to know when that happens, the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's Endorsement Guides (16 CFR Part 255) and similar rules elsewhere require clear disclosure.
If This Changes
If affiliate links, sponsorships or advertising are added in the future:
- This page will be updated first, naming each program or partner.
- Pages containing affiliate links will carry a visible disclosure near the links, not only in the footer.
- The privacy policy and cookie policy will be updated to list any new cookies.
- Technical content — grades, mesh counts, aperture calculations — will continue to be written independently of any commercial relationship.
How to Evaluate Any Seller
Whether or not a link is commercial, verify the details yourself before ordering:
- Ask for the grade (304, 304L, 316, 316L) and, for critical uses, a mill test certificate.
- Confirm mesh count and wire diameter — the opening size depends on both. Our mesh size chart shows how to check the numbers.
- Check return terms for cut-to-size material, which is often non-returnable.
